I'm in Hampshire, chichester area, I just went to loads off farms and asked, fingers crossed should be moving in there next week, I tried the net also but nothing local for the right money, I know off a unit 100 a week with a ramp and enough room for 4 cars with 3 phase power and water if anyone round here is interested might be able to sort it out (if it aint gone yet)
-
Im down south and looking for something myself, should hopefully have something end off this week which is big enough for 3 cars and has power, will be 80 a month

Sorry not been on here in ages..
Dan - got it off eBay cost 44 quid haha!! Probably why it last 5 minutes!!
Phil - I'm usin 10cc dished pistons, i was going to raise the compression as I was going to run a meth/ high octane fuel mix and a standalone ecu, so the plan was rather than invest in some flat pistons I was going to deck the block a fair amount and run a very slim head gasket, (not ideal I know) but plans have changed so just going with a piggy back and around standard comp engine, rather get it on the road than adding more and more to the spec.
As for the rear beam, there's no way that this would bend under force the car is going to be very lightweight(2 light over the back) so there's going to be very little stress on it apart from going up and down! The flex will come from the Coilovers..
Thanks darraghmh91
Got a small update
Rebuilt the steering rack and clean it up
Cleaned and painted the panhard rod
And brought these monsters off the short man himself, can't wait to get my hand on these!!!
Still looking for a decent workshop/ garage so still no progress in the cage unfortunately
-
Wish my budget would alow for the bonnet it's a gem short man

Looking good Adam, just reminded me that I need to go through my wireing loom and strip it all down haha, will defo have to meet up once these beast are on the road (one day)
-
Cheers shorty bro! due to where I live/ where my project is we get very strong wind so unfortunately the gazebo lasted a whole 3 days before the wind had snapped the 4 main posts and threw the whole gazebo across the car park ha ha, so lesson learned don't buy a gazebo off eBay. I've managed to find a little workshop so fingers crossed I get that will be finding out later this week, so the car can finally go into a proper home and we can get going on the cage, my windows should be here this week to with abit off luck not that there is any rush
-
nope using dished pistons, so the comp is pretty much standard at the moment, my block should be back soon from being decked, and thanks for the words im pretty aware with what is needed to tune/ build a high comp engine
-
yeah mate, stripped everything outa it, sanded down etc, degreased it with truck cleaner and steam washed it, then just primer and rattle caned it using the cans from halfords cost me about 30 quid i think in total haha, cheers buddy its getting there
-
Taking windows out tomorrow, then it's just waiting for my main fab man to have a weekend free, hopefully should start end off this month gonna try smash it out so can then paint the inside and get the fuel system/ interior in, wanna get this done now been way to long haha, and I've text him waiting for a reply he's properly busy ATM with work

Time attack starlet build breaking
in Breaker's Yard
Posted · Edited by nest
Unfortunately due to me moving to Australia I’m going to have to break my time attack starlet project, everything is for sale, a lot of the parts are brand new unused, and if there not new they will off been refurbished by me.
You can contact me on here via PM.
Mobile number 24/7: 07787606365
Email: jakenest1@hotmail.co.uk
I have more parts that I will update in the next few weeks, would advise coming to collect can post at buyers expense, if collecting bring extra cash as there will more than likely be bits you’ll want that I have not put on here.
1992 starlet GT shell, this shell has had extensive work done to it, it has a full custom weld-in roll cage fitted, all to FIA standard, picture’s don’t do it justice, the whole shell has been seam welded and all engine mount points have been reinforced and strengthened. The rear wheel well has been cut out and I have a carbon fibre sheet to go over the hole which will come with the shell, there is a welded in steel tube frame for the fuel cell in the rear which I will leave in if the buyer wants it with the fuel cell or can be removed, the is a rear tube frame built to hold a rear-mount oil cooler setup. Will come with all legal documents, It is a bare shell; however it will come with the following:
All glass apart from front windscreen
Full loom
All door locks, hinges, rubbers etc
Can get it rolling for ease of transport
I’m looking for:
£900 without the fuel cell
£1150 with fuel cell
More pictures on request:
Custom Zisco Cruise style manifold, Ceramic coated by zircotec in performance white, Custom built Garret turbo to produce between 250-300bhp on a well-built engine with minimal lag, talking ct9 territory, externally gated by a turbo smart wastegate, Stainless steel screamer pipe and downpipe, K&N filer, full braided oil and water lines.
Kit is completely brand new, is an absolute bargain for someone
£1750 for the lot no offers
Custom buddy club spec 2 style stainless exhaust system built by Zisco
£350
Enkei alloy wheels, Super lightweight 15x7 been painted white, decent condition
£250
Outlaw 2000 front brake kit, Monster brakes super rare
£600
Zisco baffled ally fuel cell
£250
