  1. Apparently there was different versions of the C52 though so finding the correct gears is a pain in the ass, even though everything looks similar, same ratio's etc there was different variations each year they were manufactured. If this wasn't the case id deffo rebuild it, id get all the internals froze too and see how long it lasts lol

  2. Yeah i just rang my good friend Mike @ TD, by the sounds this is not a GT/Glanza box im running :/ and apparently its not worth the hassel trying to repair my GT box as there were many variations of the box lol ohwell, il get another GT box and swap the diffs and i can hit 160's for fun again :p

  3. I see you have a GT and said if you are at 2.8-3k revs your doing 70-75mph. Do me a favour dude will you check that for me, i swear the 5th gear is longer in the GT's. I used to have a GT box now running a Glanza box. Thanks!

  4. Just done the test and got 155 on camera. Was hoping for 160 maybe i could of achieved it if i was paying more attention and not holding my phone, it was so loud in the car fuck knows if i hit the limiter im praying i didnt otherwise this box will be coming back off.

  5. There are a lot of quick Starlets and a lot of quick Civics, just because one particular tuned Glanza beat one particular tuned Civic does not mean all Glanzas are faster than Civics, it works both ways.

It's hard to compare them directly though as you can say the 4AGE is comparable to the B16 and the 2ZZGE is comparable to the B18, whereas the little 4EFTE is in the same league as a turbo'd Honda D series.

I'd like to see some of you "TD04 Glanza fastest car in the world" types go up against an N/A K20 swapped Civic with some bolt ons + K Pro...

I've never seen any K swapped civics go flat out, only videos. My friend is building a K swapped EG cant wait to see it go!

  6. What your saying sounds true but there is no way on earth my Glanza is hitting 140mph on the limiter, honestly ive raced M3's that can hit 160 and ive been beside them laughing, when i go through speed traps my clocks are actually showing less than what the trap is saying aswell! I promise il get a video soon and il post it on here for everyone. From previous comments ive heard 167mph is the limit but like i said ive never bounced the limiter in fifth

  7. this is true, but your civic was probably running more power than my GT at the time.

id have like to have seen the difference after i sorted the manifold, and also if i could build and hold solid boost. i know im going to be sticking up for my brum.

the only starlet that was worth watching at japfest this year had to pull out after 2 laps due to failure and no disrespect to taggy, but i didnt see any honda's limping off track all day. and that white accord was on every other session with no problems, and he was going balls out on every session and over taking everything infront of it that i saw

It probably was running more power but only has about 125lb torque lol before i sold the car it was alot quicker than that too!

  8. 1 bar td04 faster then every honda out there lol you havent a clue. Heres a k20 teg from ireland suppose would you say your 1 bar td04 would be faster? Your pushing around 220 bhp if even and you think thats enough to beat every honda out there you're mistaken bigtime.

1 bar td04 starlet is not the fastest car on the road.

Agree with you Corey, i own a 325bhp Glanza and a B18C EK9. If i was to take either one on track it would be the ek9. They were designed in japan and tested on the track by honda! However, drag racing would be a different story. Unless you have a boosted honda, but thats another debate :p

  9. They are quality engines ^, they held the most bhp/cylinder capacity for N/a motors for quite along time. Till the s2000 came out iirc.

I wish i had her rolling roaded, the thing would rev to 9200rpm with the Spoon ECU and she loved every minute of it! Tbh i prefered it more than my B18C, but im yet to have it tuned so we shall see!
