Found it thanks guys, blue and orange box. Took it apart and there's nothing obviously wrong with it but i don't have the means to test it.

There is a relay on the loom within the bootlid, not sure whether this is the right one you're look for but its worth a try

Hi all, the car's been off the road for a while due to money problems but is now up and running again. I asked a question a while ago now about why my rear wiper wouldn't work on intermitent and got told it was probably the relay. Now i've hunted and hunted but can't pin down where the relay actually is. Can anyone tell me it's exact location please?

it stands true. it is the most cost effective and productive mod youll do on a car.

i still consider it my most worthwhile mod on my glanza, and i have many mods.

Having played with the suspension on many cars i can agree with this with the starlet not having one at all as standard. I can imagine the difference it must make, hence asking the original question.

no the other kit thats out there mounts the other way onto where the rear beam axle mounts to the chassis,

the disadvantage of this way is that you could not fit an adjustable one

So apart from it being fixed and not adjustable is there any other disadvantage to it being that way round? Does one work better than the other because of how it mounts?

Cheers guys. I was thinking of just grabing someones old stock one if anyone had one and start there rather than going straight to something more heavy duty. I take it that's not really possible then?

Not looked under the car to see if the bolt holes or such are there, but can i fit a rear anti roll bar to my sportif. I'm guessing i probably can but just want it confirmed. And what parts i need apart from the bar itself obviously.

My rear shocks have gone on my sportif and i'm looking to replace them with some gas one's. Trying to do this dirt cheap at the moment and i know the SR had gas kyb's on but what about the turbo's, are they gas as standard too?

I mainly want to concentrate on the handling side of things, but my money is having to go on more important things at the moment unfortunately.

I personally would bet that manifold does give 15hp. It really does make an incredible difference. Mine was strangled at about 4.5k before, now it revs much more freely.

spoke to jaystar today and he recommended cleaning the lamda, so i might give that a go next week.

keep the suggestions rolling in tho guys... as im desperate to get to the bottom of this problem!

Entirely possible yes, see if you can borrow someone elses for a day or so and see if it makes a difference.
