so how much did this cost you? i have an identical problem.

i have a gen 7 i really doubt it without spending some serious cash. and they are heavy!!!

no it came with a kyb suspension kit, which im not to sure about really. .. .

ah i do know that my front left wheel bearing was just replaced before i brought the car. ... that could explain the squeak ... but not the knocking?

My GT sqeeks when i turn the wheel when parking, or generally moving slowly. also there is a clunking or knocking comming from the left wheel area, this is most noticable when reversing?? anyone got any ideas? only noticeable at slow speeds..

erm i would'nt say it sounds very good, hense getting a decent exhaust system. sounds cool on boost, but tickover is annoying. and it drowns on the motorway if your not boosting.

agree with scutch, mine has no baffles, its loud but no performance gain that i can tell.

this has been answered before i remember, but has it changed? i was under the impression imports, such as starlet GT's and Glanza only would have idle emissions tests? is that not true? 3 garages told me today they must have normal emissions tests like all other cars....

starletgtclutch well i struck gold with a little help lol, not sure on fitting yet but after being quoted £498 for a new standard toyota clutch this was awesome check the link if you need a new clutch lads. also the guy comes highly recommended!

Where could i get a new clutch fitted in preferable Hertfordshire area or local to that? a standard clutch is fine or uprated, its likely i will choose the cheapest option though, depending on by how much??

thanks for info mate, thats exactly what happens with mine, but it dose it in 4th aswell, somtimes even secound.

im certain this is not boost related now, its got worse now and im 99% sure its the clutch causing the hesitation. when accelerating hard in mainly the higher gears revs will fly and then drop. Its started to smell of burnt clutch when this happens badly now.

Is anyone going to this this year? i found the 2006 thread but there dos'nt appear to be one 4 this year? im going on the sunday morning so if anyone wants to meet or anything that would be cool?

erm yes, oviously some buckets are the first idea, was looking for stuff more along the lines retrim the door cards? this been done? what have people done with the center console? and the dash? carbon surrounds for the switches yea all stuff like that really?

Has anyone done and weight reduction on their Glanza's i know its not a heavy car as it is, but little less weight cant hurt. spare removed and general boot shit, but replaced with some ice so its heavier now. any ideas????

my boost seems to hesitate then come on full ?? for example in 3rd gear doing say 50 right off the accelerator ready to boost, i then boot it, it boosts, stops, then boosts and continues until i stop accelerating. that all happens in the space of a second but is clearly noticeable and always happens now in all gears except first. Not sure about second gear though.

i dont really want to be paying that much, so i think i will just have to hope the ecu i get is nice and agressive.

thats not good at all then? what do you think i should do then as there is no way of telling? can the aftermarket ecu's be remaped to work with your specific setup or is it purely a luck of the draw thing?

ohh i see, well that pretty much answer my question full stop lol. from what i read the blitz one is the best correct? most aggressive e.t.c ?

under heavy and hard breaking is this my breaks feel as though they are about to fail? sorry to be off topic by the way, well sort of off topic.
