Made a start on the wings yesterday started with a 320 grit on my sander wasn't doing much so changed to a 240 grit. Started sanding through the paint got to the primer which turns out is still soft. Possibly why it's all cracked so will be sanding back to the gel coat when my supply arrive. Going to take a while to sand them back.

From the Japfest team.......
In light of the continuing situation surrounding the Coronavirus, Kelsey Media, organisers of the Japfest and TRAX events have the following update concerning its 2020 calendar.
Japfest and TRAX Donington, which was due to take place over the weekend of the 18th and 19th July 2020, has now been deferred to 2021. The exact date for the 2021 Donington Japfest and TRAX weekend will be announced nearer the time.
We would like to thank the support of our venue partners, our customers, clubs, traders and sponsors for their patience and understanding at this time.
All existing bookings for either Japfest Silverstone, or the Donington weekend can be carried forward to the TRAX Silverstone date of the 4th October, or used for a future event. We advise ticket holders to check our social media pages, website and their inbox for further updates in the coming weeks.
We will of course continue to monitor developments in the weeks ahead. The safety of the public and our staff is our number one priority and we will continue to be guided by the advice from public health bodies and the UK government.
Like other companies in this sector, Kelsey Media remain committed to delivering our events in a safe environment. We are working closely with our venue partners, taking whatever steps necessary to ensure the safety of the public and staff alike.
If you have any further queries, please email us at japfest@kelsey.co.uk, trax@kelsey.co.uk or call 01959 543730.

No mate CF skirts are a waste of money for skirts imo id be gutted if I damage CF ones so went for a set of fiberglass ones.
-
Put my deposit down for replacement livesports skirts will be from Fiske so 6 weeks or so I'll have the new set in.
-
Yes mate it's a sleeve for the crank to cover the damage so the seal has a nice surface to seal to hopefully.

You running 205/50/15? im having same problem lol i did get it perfect before i sold it and bought it back. What happened to the skirts lol ?
195 50 15 I do have 20mm spacers on the front and 25mm on the rear. Skirts I put stripper on and it ate the gel coat do they got snapped lmao I'll get new ones and have a look at the wings ect at some point.
-
So..... May have got to the point where the genuine livesports skirts done my nut in one to many times this happend
So they are no more oops I'll order a set of fisk ones they do the next run.
Off down my garage the other day to get my oem skirts that I painted black when I had my na to bring home and repaint white for the time being.
They will do for the time being better than no skirts at all. I'll get the rear splitter sorted at some point and back on probly repaint the rear bumper aswell as I wasn't happy with it.
Thinking about raising the car 5 - 10 mm aswell as I keep having problems with rubbing on the arches.
Cheers nick.

All the ones I've heard of with broken big end caps stem from abuse of the motor ie no servicing and dropping from 5th to 4th giving it full torque. These motors are old now think people keep forgetting that. Keep them serviced they will go on and on. Mine only really comes out to go on track these days and it's still going strong. I'd like to have had crank plate and and billet mains but would have had to have that done when the engine was built.

Just checking in how's everyone doing with lock down ? I've started getting my daily exercise via my push bike quite enjoying that. Only issue is I now want an ebike. Smashing call of duty modern warfare on the Xbox. What I am struggling with is not seeing the kids and my misses been 6 weeks so far I think. I do video call them every day though. Sleeping pattern is all to hell not getting to sleep till about 4am every night. Hope everyone is doing well and keeping safe.
Cheers nick.

Have you changed the box oil ? Synchro's could be on the way out also.
-
I'd like one only if and when I go stand alone. Good piece of kit.
-
Yes mate keep it up to date on here. Looking forward to making you eat mine and Dave's dust when Japfest happens.
Cheers nick.

good effort mate. nice to see youve got a filter on the gun also. Have you got a little regulator on the gun? you might find that helps. I know you have one on the compressor but one on the gun allows you to fine tune what your actually getting at the gun.
Yeah got one on the gun aswell isn't any good mind you tells me pressure at the gun but as soon as I pull the trigger it goes to zero and sod all adjustment on it even though it has a adjustment nob that's what you get for getting it off Amazon lol.
