Haha I didn't fit it, I just stood there and watched as someone I know did because the biggest thing I could probably do is service a car at this point in time haha And I was thinking just paint the mirrors for now as most cars have black plastic around the mirrors anyway, centre consoles look a bit tacky colour coded in my opinion, even though I'm about to stickerbomb mine haha

I was desperately looking for a standard one too then I got one in black a couple of months back. The only thing is I have a remus instead of the tte now because I couldn't track down one! Have you got any plans to do to it? Its nice to see it still has the decals to, don't take them off no matter how faded they are, there's not enough standardish sr's out there.

should try out a set of oem toyota wheels from a paseo or glanza, no-one will tell the difference from factory plus they'd be cheap to get hold of

looks pretty decent without them rubstrips makes me wish i had a sportif to fuck around with and not an sr. maybe colour code the mirrors and door handles while your at it with the paint?

leave it looking pathetic and put a fast car magazine sticker on it or something, will make the exhaust look even more novelty looking out of place looks even better. wish i didn't have to make a cut for mine. sleeeeepers ftw!

I'd say have ago with the rub strips, haven't done it myself because I'm keeping my SR looking standard, but if you remove them and you can't buffer the paint to the same fade, your spray skills show you could probably do a good job of colour coding them. I have a remus backbox, I've kept my cat for legal reasons, and haven't had any problems, due to it not being much noise and I could just say it was standard with the car aha. Try snails ep 91, I got my corolla inlet mani aswell as my exhaust off him, makes a nice combination. He had another one for sale for about 40 or something

You must be missing the focus in terms of comfort Thinking the simple mods would be a good start Remove rub strips Clear indicator lenses Nice set of springs + shocks possibly depending on budget and lower it on some sr speedlines Corolla inlet manifold and a nice exhaust to match is a nice way of perking up the n/a but by the sound of it you picked the car out of what you could afford in budget, rather than throwing hundreds into it.

The lacquer is peeling off inside my speedlines, so I'm using it as an excuse to get the set refurbished, does anyone know of any in my area?

Could it be a wheel and tyre problem, I had a bald tyre replaced the other the day and my replacement went flat within a day. Turns out the problem of it causing to go flat was that the lacquer was peeling off inside the rim and when changing the tyre it had disturbed it. I had it rectified today and now i don't seem to be getting a scrape on full lock?
