  1. why do u need 2 sets? i fitted a set to an evo a few weeks ago, was able to get just over -3 degrees, thought about getting a set for the glanza

A set for either side fella .

Yeah it's just a smaller size shank. Will work fine for adding a bit more camber.

That's good to know thanks matey

  2. oh right i wasn't aware of that, learn something new everyday haha. GT for the win then lol

i'm not a fan of massive stretch really not ideal. bit of flaring needed by the sounds of it then on a glanza :(

Not many people do to be honest :)

    Happy to help though

  3. I have 15" 8j et17 work wheels on my GT and with 185/55 tyres on and D2 coilovers not ridiculously low theyre not bad at all. panhard rod is a must obviously. the main issue i had was the tread on the front was poking way out from under the arch when i test fitted them with the tyres they came with (205/55's). 185/55 or even 175/55 tyres would be a must though i think or run some reasonable camber on the front. mine is set at 1 degree and i don't want any more than that so went with the 185 tyres instead.

Glanza may be slightly different though obviously.

if you want mega lows though it starts to quickly become a lot of work but stay at a sensible ride height and of coilovers it should be ok.

Glanza has a wider rear beam so its much worse unfortunately :( I went to 165/50/15 but once on the wheel they didn't look like they were going to stay on haha

  4. Has anyone used these ? What are your thoughts if so ?

I need as much camber as possible so my tyres will clear my livesports wings, I don't want to damage genuine items !!!

There are a few companies that do them, best price I've found is around £48 for the two sets delivered

    Thanks

    Aaron

  5. nice build mate very nice figures :)i love the way they are bashing the big turbo as undriveable a few pages back there is no isseu really with lag you just need to raise the rpm limit on a bigger turbo and not stick to the oem limiter of 7.2/7.5 i am sure your turbo will still be in the powerband at 8it seams many forged builders are afraid to raise there limiter to 8.5 :( :(

It went to 8.3 dude but as socks mentioned I had an issue with engine internals which turned out not to be what I was told they were so I was very lucky I didn't get a worse failure

  6. If you don't raise the rev limit, then the powerband is much smaller then that of a GTX28 based turbocharger. If the limiter is raised, then youd get the same useable powerband in terms of RPMs. However response (foot hard down to getting boost) even when within the prime rpm band will still be slower making a car feel laggy...The second issue is the fact that Azz doesn't/didn't know what the in-depth spec of the engine was, as its TMD's old engine and of course Dave Burwash is no longer with us... Pointless pushing an engine when you do not know what the tolerances/measurments/true spec of it is... Which may be partly the reason why it lifted the head off the block at big boost...This wants a Headstud Conversion. Known, stiffer valve springs and a higher limit. Then it will live up to the "Monster" in the title in my opinion! :)But hey, all in good time dude! Get it ready and driveable, worry about it over winter when your not using it! Then turn it up!Glad to see you've got it back, make it yours again, clean her up then when you've enjoyed it a bit, take it back! :)PS, those wheels look wide!

The plans are already in motion ;)
