Sweet, okay then I think il just go the cheap option and then just buy a EBC when I do TD04. Sorted!! Also does anyone know what tools I will need to fit the actuator?? Il be fine with wiring in the gauge just need to know what tools so I can take them home, I did try to have a quick glimpse thismornin but couldnt see much

Okay sweet thanks guys. I was under the impression that u can run up to 0.8bar safely without having to touch the fuelling, I mean its already running rich due to the decat (stinks of fuel when I have someone sitting behind lol). I point blank refuse to get a fuel cut defender. I do plan to do a TD04 on it just wanted a lil extra power for the time being but a safe amount of power if u understand

Hi guys, I bought the HKS adjustable actuator last week and a digital boost gauge. I dont yet wanna fit it as I think I may need a EBC just to keep tabs on the boost levels. Luckily I work as a Tech for a main dealer and we have a boost tester. Do I go the long winded but cheap way and just slowly adjust the actuator until I get to 0.8bar. Or buy a EBC So I can have the overboost warning aswell as the whole adjustment. I think the EBC would be a safe option but I dont have a huge amount of money atm Thanks, Josh

Hi all, Can anyone please tell me where a boost gauge should actually be fitted, as in, where the piping should cut into the system?? As I never fitted the one I have now as it was already fitted. Pictures would be much appreciated, thanks Josh

Sweet, what sort of cost am i looking at for a CT9 hybrid ;). Sucks though as I just bought a HKS adjustable actuator and digital boost gauge and they are ready to go on now. no point in me fitting it all as its just gonna bugger the turbo even quicker ey? -
Hey guys Everytime I put my foot down hard I get a slight puff of bluey smoke. I know this is oil so is there any common problems with the standard turbo set up?? I think a friend said that the turbo oil seals go on these cars, can anone recommend a repair kit or solution if that is the problem? Thanks Josh

Clutch biting point changes constantly
jtaylor1990 replied to jtaylor1990's topic in Drivetrain & Transmission
Well ordered a master cylinder, stripped the old one off the car and went to fit new one and realised it was completely different, phoned the supplier and turns out their entire batch were boxed wrong, went to refit the old one and when I tried to bleed the clutch it wouldnt bleed at all so stuck without a car for the last two days, should turn up tomorrow so Il fit it soon as I get in from work and we will see if that works -
Well turns out there are two 12mm bolts holding it from the drivers side under dash, so we sorted it, but the master cylinder wont bleed so now means gotta wait for the new one to turn up, I did already have a new one but the company sent the wrong one in the box, so now have a dead car on my drive and no way to get to work ffs

Hmmm nice one mate that would make lot of sense, like I said tho its okay atm, just have to wait and see -
I agree ^^ No load voltage should be 12 - 12.5 volts and with alternator charging should be 14volts maybe a tiny bit more
