It is pretty large runner wise for a ct9, i hope it wont affect the spool too much though because ive used 32mm runners instead of 38mm which is what i normally use, usually for bigger power/turbos. Ive made up the intercooler pipe and the front mount airfilter pipe too to fit with the glanza aluminum rad i got, cant wait to get her back together!
  12. Long time no update, Emanage is installed, hybrid bought, D2 coilover fitted, and ive made up this mani, oem ct9 position, this is made of 5mm mild steel steam tube, it aint cracking! Just waiting for my mate to face the engine flange and ill be bolting it all back together and mapping
  13. Deffo a hybrid, different compressor wheel, and looks like it has a cut back exhaust wheel, but also looks fooked!

Same here, wonder it was bad strapping or one broke, ive had that happen to me on my old starlet, the front exit burnt through a strap and nearly launched the car off the back of the dyno with me and the mapper in the car! Scary stuff! Luckily my mapper controlled the car and stopped it falling off!
  15. no, the car will just be a little rich on idle, its not a big issue.
  16. I ran 550s on blue with my td04 at 1.4bar, it was ok, but was quite rich on idle due to the injectors being so large and the emanage not being able to take enough duty out. But they werent too bad

Piston slap is the forged pistons moving in the bores while they are cold, once they expand when the engine has run for a while they should be quieter, Where is the tapping coming from? top end or bottom end? could be valve clearances, if you dont tension the cam drive gear it also makes the valve train noisier

To be fair, it does look brand new in the pic riko put up, no discolouration of the steel, it looks pretty crappy stainless to be honest, from the colouration and corrosion on it, but can be welded. I dont think you can blame Riko, any manifold that is made of thin stainless like that, is going to crack, and the big name japanese branded manis are the worst for it in my experience. Just fire me over a pm when you want it welded mate.

  20. If you are going to go 3" you should go from the turbo back to avoid any restriction, the whole exhaust should be changed.
  21. Looks like it has a fair amount more power in it from the graph flatlining, 3" exhaust on its own would help that immensly.
  22. Got a similar setup ona gt im building, i just run them straight to the catch tank from the rocker cover, but as said above, the catch tank needs a breather. Nice fuel rail setup you got there, custom made?
