  1. If we had a calander full of bums people would think its a micra calander though

did your mum never tell you about the birds and the bees? Doubt its possible to DO a wingmirror But if you mean paint them.... then there is three bolts inside the car to take the wingmirror off, rub them down with some wet and dry, coat of primer, couple of coats of paint, and then laquer. remember and mask the glass.
  3. It's never dirty during the sumer, just for winter. It will be MINT again by april.

only if you get a mate to video it and post up here
  5. my pics arent too bad are they? I've got my steelies on now so not really worth swapping wheels back over and spending 2 days cleaning my car for a good photo when its gonna get dirty driving to wherever i take it i thought these two were pretty good if i'm pulling on my own plonker...
  6. they wouldnt be very wacky though, I would have kept the white wheels on if I was gonna keep it looking at its best also, every fooker has black and silver wheels. The white polo in the background is in the process of wacky steelies aswell.
  7. I'm not worried about the mileage too much to be honest! It's just trying to tell every muppet of the day when I go to sell it.. As for 120bhp doubt it. I would like to think that by the time i've done the work above i'm close to 100bhp but we'll have to see, I'm not expecting loads.
  8. PMSL @ rich. I was gonna paint mine before it went on but my rocker cover is polished so I left it. By the time JAE comes it'll be either all shiny or all paintee though Took the car for a proper blast last night, pulls soooo much better in 2nd & 3rd, used to just bog down if you put it into second but it actually pulls now which is nice
  9. yeah, that not a bit expensive though? Need to get the ecu remapped? Well, my car's milage is a bit large (120K ) and I plan on keeping it for another year. It's getting a bit oil thirsty so the plan is........ Source another cylinder head, dad is going to port/polish it, put fhe cams in, change valve stem oil seals, piston rings and bolt the new head on with a new head gasket and timing belt. This should make the engine nice and solid for a few more years so hopefully wont jeopardise the selling of the car when it comes to it.
  10. wrote it off on way back from crail, touched a verge, slid round and hit another motor He was absolutely gutted to say the least.
  11. A socket set, a couple of 12mm and 10mm spanners. Also i bought a new inlet gasket to save any leaks occuring later. It is pretty simple, just a bit fiddly. I tried to take it off without taking the fuel moving the fuel rail but when I got it all undone it wouldnt lift out so just take the fuel rail off to start and save yourself alot of pissing about. The only mod is a longer bit of breather hose at the back (a very thin bit) and there was no where for the earth to go on the new inlet so i just bolted it to another one on the bulkhead.
  12. Nice one scutch0 I'm jealous. Gonna order some fhe cams soon me thinks to go with the inlet
  13. Yeah he was there at ingelston mate. Defo the same one, it's one of a kind. Everything is text book on it, shame its now dead
  14. Fitted it this afternoon hungover but wasnt too bad. The old one was a pain to get off but nothing i cant handle ha ha. Well impressed with it though! The car itself is sooooooooooo much smoother and pulls right up the revs. Good investment! GO AND BUY ONE Was gonna do a "how to" but couldnt find camera. But i'll be changing the cylinder head over in a couple of months and could do one then if people are still interested? Cheers to enzo for sorting me out with it. Top bloke
  15. well I painted the centres one day then the lip the next, coulda done it in a day but I was being lazy.
  16. Well I thought I'd practice some painting on my steelies the other week seeing though i had the week off uni. I dont mind driving with my alloys on in the snow etc but its an absolute bee-atch to keep them clean, so I thought i'd take the piss a bit So over the last couple of days the car has been at nature&wylietech getting a new look OMGGGG Heres the progress pics: PS- It's not the slightest bit acceptable to have a shiny car over the festive season :| Oh, and my inlet mani has just arrived so i'll be fitting that just now, i'm dying from last nig
  17. www.photobucket.com mate upload all your pics there. doddle
  18. This is my mates WRC replica i mentioned in the thread earlier. By far the nicest focus i've seen except the cossie'd one that goes to knockhill.

  20. Aye, should be ok. I'm always patient, thats why i broke my dads ratchet extension last time i lowered my mates starlet I'll fire a post up tomo when its running and let everyone know what I think. better be worth it after all the hassle
  21. I have bigger versions of these pics if you use one aswell enzo.
  22. A couple of my fav pics:
  23. my mate had a stunning focus, car of the cruise at maxxy P in fakirk etc. I loved it to pieces... HOWEVER I would never have bought it because it was his. I dont want to drive someone elses car, I would rather do it all myself. When I drive past i know folk say , "look theres wylies starlet" If you drive around in your mates focus, its always going to be his. People will say (for the sake of argument your mate is called jeffrey) "look, theres that jeffrey guys focus" Then again, you could drive round the UK on a pint of cooking oil....
