Bumppppl!!!!
-
Yeah mine was doing the exact same when I changed the inlet manifold and there was a vacuum leak from the inlet to the throttle body, so I would check all your pipes etc
-
Buuuummppp, want these gone As there sat in my living room haha.
-
I think there sold now
might just be the O ring on the tap anyway, that's where it's leaking from like
-
Mines definatley leaking from the O ring, I start the car up and I'm literally just watching the water trickle back out through the tap at the bottom, I've tightened it but I think it's lost it's seal. So just wondering what size they are, never changed one before, are they hard? I gues all the water will piss out though
-
Don't suppose anyone has a decent radiator that I can grab at this meet? Mines pissing like there's no tomorrow.
-
Might also consider a swap with a glanza inlet mani or other n/a bits to improve performance
-
My dads mini had a little bit of rust in the boot, had been thee for years, he parked it in a double garage when he moved house and within a year or so the whole boot had been eaten away by rust, so he had to cut it all out and weld new panels in
his garage was always damp and he said that the garage definatley speeded up the rust process.
However his was a mini that are know for their rust, so it was going to rust anyway! Haha I've only ever heard of one starlet rusting
I think if the car already has rust, the garage will make it worse.
-
Ah that's why then ;) haha
but you know theres 3 wires coming out of the bulbs for the main brake lights, cant you just find out which one the current goes through when you brake, rather than the one with continuous current for the sidelights, not sure if that would work but that's my suggestion haha
-
The loom is probably still there though Amjad, it's just two wires, the colours that people are talking about above, originally it was on a clip that clipped from the brake light to the loom, I just cut it off and connected the glanza brake light to there

She needs a car ASAP so she's getting all the money she can, I told her I didn't want to put it on the forum because this would happen. So fucking annoying
-
I wish I could to be honest James because I want to keep the engine :/
And sorry Harvey I doubt I'll be able too because the people who are picking it up quoted £100 for the whole car like, I'm so annoyed :/
-
My sisters being a bitch now and doesnt want to see her car being stripped etc. it's getting scrapped off at some point for £100. If anyone wants the whole car they can come and get it for that price. But I'll still grab all the little things off it for you guys, it wasn't an ac model so I'll get that blanking plate, I'll get those screws today luke. And I'll bring that mirror to the meet on Sunday
Anyone else want any little bits? They prefer to have a full car when they come to get it so I can't take any major noticeable bits off like. I'm so annoyed, she askes me to do something and then goes back on it ffsz
-
I wired the brake light into the n/a loom from the window break light, it's two wires and I just joined the positive and negative and took the window brake light out, hope this helps

In Cardiff, south wales, you can pm me for more details or text me if you like
Rough idling and misfire etc...
in Ignition & Fueling
Posted · Edited by DaveyDemolition
Basicly my car feels like its struggling on idle, it always misses beats like it just jerks and when it jerks the temp gauge jumps up to 3/4 of the way and instantly jumps back down to below half, only does it occasionally but it's almost like it doesn't like idling, it's just so rough, it's been like it for a while, but now today when I put my foot down, the limiter is usually 30 in 1st and 60 in 2nd, but when I hit about 25 in 1st and 50 ish in second, it starts to back fire, it sounds emmense, I wouldent say it's a misfire more the exhaust starts backfiring it weird, but also looses power, so I don't know what it could be, recently the ht leads, spark plugs, dizzy cap and rotor arm have been changed.
And i gave it an oil change about a month ago,
Fuel filter maybe? I've never changed it before.. And I'll change the tb soon with an idle controll valve because mines always idled at 1,400rpm since I bought it like 2 years ago which I know is wrong. Anyone else have any ideas? It's annoying me now :/ it just doesn't like idling
Forgot to say its an ep91 n/a
