  1. sounds like the clutch is broke then bud. sounds like the clutch is broke then bud. sounds like the clutch is broke then bud.
  2. If it does turn out to be release bearing. And td supplied the clutch. Then it should be done under warranty with no charge. And also if they do take the gearbox out. And say its the input shaft you are withen your right to ask for the parts back that they replaced.
  3. Just take up the free play on the pedal for the release bearing. And input shaft would be all the way. For sticking gears it could be the springs in the clutch. Of they snap you would also have trouble getting it into gear. Mainly when it's got warm
  4. Usually release bearing make a like sqeaking noise as well as a grouching noise. Where as a input bearing is really loud and makes a rattle noise but won't go until the clutch is fully depressed
  5. But sound travels bud. How loud is the noise.
  6. Input shaft bearings are not that bad to change if you know what your doing. But he should try what I said
  7. Way to usually tell if it's the release bearing or input shaft Release bearing as soon as the free play has been taken up on pedal the noise should be gone Input shaft the noise will be there practically all the way until the clutch pedal is fully depressed as this is when the gearbox is disengaged Also input shaft sounds like a diesel flywheel trying to jump out the engine bay Hope this helps

  11. hey bud, i have just installed a jam fcd, fpr, and wideband to my car, so far my fuel pressure vac off, is set to 2.7 bar, i still have to take it on a run yet, to see what the wideband reads, but before that it was set to 2.4 bar vac off, and wideband read on full throttle 12.9, which is still to lean for this, i have been speaking to adam b and he guided me through everything, he said on full throttle, mine should read inbetween 11,6-12.2 which is good for me, but im only running .85 bar boost, so yours may be slighty different as your want to run a bar of boost, but aslong as you have a wid
  12. if you have smoke/oil coming out your breather usually means, you have done ring/ringland damage, you wont get loss of power until it decides to completly fail, and you have loads of smoke behind you

  20. have the camshafts been put in correctly?, if not this can cause it to missfire was the headgasket completly flat when installed because if a metal headgasket has a crease in it, can cause a leak where it hasnt sealed correctly, or as grant said, it couldve been put on upside down another thing to check, make sure all of your injectors are plugged in correctly
