got a problem with my aftermarket lambda sensor, so i thought ok ill remove the one from my cat but it seems to be in there very well and i cant remove it. i cant get a ring spanner over it as theres not enough room any ideas other than wd40 ? is there some trick to getting em out ?

ok checked wiring today and one of the map sensor wires was not connected properly so fixed the wire properly and everything is working properly now a massive thanks to everyone for all the help and advice

i wish i had a wideband i wouldnt have a problem if i did matey, im conviced its the rrfpr but really need to get it on rollers and get them to set fueling i think, its not a well known brand regulator either i think the gauge is most likley not reading correct

cheers ill double check again can you tell me are these the exact position of the wires that need to be cut/spliced ? sorry if it seems like i dunno what im doing but i have checked this wiring so many times lol

was set with vac line off and i have a gauge on the rrfpr set it to that, would it still hit fuel cut if it was to lean then ?

cheers matey, but this isnt symptoms this is proper fuel cut jolting the whole car, maybe i havnt wired the fcd in correct ? i checked over and over again just dont make sense you know what i mean

tryed it setting 8 for a day and it did hit fuel cut , im really at a loss i need to know if a fcd is wired up will it not hit fuel cut at all or are there certain limits ?

i spoke to a guy at Atspeed in rayleigh but he really wasnt interested unless i had aftermarket engine management, when i told him my setup he just said "no matter what u do u will always hit fuel cut unless you have some proper management" which i know hes got the right idea aftermarket management is the way to go but doesnt mean rrfpr and fcd wont be effective also if its setup correctly which is kinda why i rang him ???

ill give it a try on 8 see how it goes, but im pretty sure its due to the rrfpr as cars not bringing up engine management light when it happens so says to me its tricking the ecu so the fcd working ??

surley i can just go to a (not so fussy) tuners and they can tell me my afr and rectify any iregularitys ?
