I gotta prove that they were at fault with the rings which is pretty near impossible that would be fucking amazing dude but engine building isn't something you can rush but once its built getting it back in could be done in 1 day easily enough with enough hands that is lol

its so hard mate its just one thing after another 8 months to get this far now I could be starting all over again basically

its just rings buddy pistons should be fine

its suffering from Blowby which means rings were probably not clocked properly during building process but I cant confirm this as engine builders did that part of the engine not me

thing with doing that mikey is even more expense, im not worried about it being off road its more the labour time that's holding me back

ok guys been another shite week My newly forged engine is suffering from blowby which basically means it needs new wossner piston rings. when it happened It was the last problem in a long line of problems for me and when I got home I put her up for sale on the forum, but because of the engine problem im not gonna see a good return from her, so situation is this: OPTION 1 - if I sell the glanza the most id expect to see is £2800 which will get me a pretty bog standard GT or Glanza and then im back to square one but have my reliability back a car I just enjoy for what it is. OPTION 2 - to repair my glanza is gonna cost around £500 if I put in the labour as well, so she will be off road for a few months during the shit weather but I end up with a forged glanza the whole point to this is im still in two minds about both options and just want some friendly advise and options what would u guys do in my situation ?

I normally wouldnt worry about things like this its only that I nearly fell for it myself so just wanted to make others aware. as he wasnt prepared to correct his listing

A 5efte is a frankenstein engine its made from a 4e and 5e engine normally with forged internals this is a bog standard 5efe non turbo engine just with a ct9 turbo bolted to it. There is nothing wrong with doing this but it still doesnt make it a 5efte engine and trying to sell it to an unsuspecting buyer as a 5efte engine is just plain deceitful imo

he got proper shitty with me when I said why is he listing it as a 5EFTE, he says "well I wont get much interest if I just listed as a engine would I" ? I said no but just list it as what it actually is a 5EFE but sadly no response and its still there so hes obviously gonna try to screw someone over with it

As above guys watch out for this guy he thinks he a bit of a smart arse, but take a closer look at this engine and you can clearly see its STOCK 5EFE running a turbo !!
