  1. The above happened to me with a landrover defender today, came into work with a lack of power, tested to see lol and the fucking turbo explodes haha. Tiny fragments all through the oil and oil shooting back through the induction system haha. Sorry for the spamage, sure this wont happen to you. If you can, try a known good turbo on your car to see if it clears up. But yeah try the simplest/cheapist options first, fueling.

  9. I gave up looking for ep*5s, none left in japan really and nobody was selling any in the uk. Only a few around the 4k mark. So i was just gonna get a gt instead. That red 85 is so cheap considering its been converted. Maybe too cheap....

  12. Enzo said he was gonna put in the st205 running gear, pretty sure it would be superior over ep*5 running gear, as there are some very high powered celicas running standard drivetrain. How much power/torque does a standard ep*5 come with, model dependant, surely the components couldn't last long pushing 400 bhp.
  13. The nearest reputable tuner to you would probably wallace performance. There is a big thread/argument on here on how to setup fuelling with good info. But to do it yourself you will need a wideband.
  14. Yeah there are a few running over 300 bhp, and i'm the ep85 shorty is building will match those. Or do a full st205 conversion with that running gear and a 3sgte engine!!! Also have you sourced a ep*5?
  15. Glanza looks really clean man, and you should defo keep the plates. But maybe im biased haha
  16. What pressure is it showing whilst cranking? You will obv need someone to do it so you can read the guage. Try changing the fuel filter first as its prob clogged up, relatively cheap aswell. Just before you go changing the pump. Jake you should know if yours is on its way out now the rear interior is stripped, because it'll be whining its tits off.
  17. Think the problem you guys have is the fuel pump not priming properly on ignition / cranking.
  18. Could be fuel related, so filter, pump, injectors, lines, rail, tank etc. Try changing the fuel filter first.

  21. Yeah but a lot of glanzas and gts are not registered as they should be, and a fair few dont have the original engines in them. This might not matter at all for the VIC, would be good to know though.

  24. That is it awesome! Some really nice TRD parts in it aswell. Pretty sure they produced ep70 series starlets in indonesia aswell as japan, probably explains why there are still lots left.
