Yeah mate i'm in the same situation as you, which to get for a first car. Everyone said to me to get ep91 na uk because of insurance issues etc.

I'll have a guess at the models. 360, gallardo and v8 vantage. Although they may be kind and have 430 but nothing newer. Personally i'd choose the lambo but if rwd is your thing then the ferrari will be more of a laugh than the aston.

I'd probably just say check obvious things, water/coolant entering the exhaust, headgasket gone, check oil and coolant cap insides for emulsification, valve stem oil seals worn, check fault codes or known faults/fixes on autodata etc. Also they can run on four cylinders for economy, don't know if that is a problem though?

I'd still bleed and replace the brake fluid though, after all you use your brakes on the road aswell.

I'd check your brake system ( pads, discs, lines, master cylinder etc ) and do a complete brake fluid change before you hit the track. Just to make sure there is no shitty old fluid or air through the system.

Aww bigman thats harsh but true. I think you have a few chioices 1. Go all out and source then fit a 20B REW. Might be a task though. 2. Buy a RX7 off trade car view. Theres a couple for under 3K. 3. Break the RX8 to fund number 2 4. Or fix the RX8

i dont have my own car but i drive at work, not on public roads though so i road test cars in the carparks, its quite a laugh doing laps around the place looking for rattles and that. Apart from that i have to walk everywhere. -
Very nice car man, love how you can see the intercooler piping through the fog light hole, looks class.

At least its getting sorted. I have heard some horror stories with these engines going wrong. Rotary engine rebuild sounds expensive, are gonna sneak in any aftermarket parts whilst its out?

I'm in the market for a glanza or if a good ep95 shows up. Went 18 months because wanted to save up a fair bit and i wasnt prepared to pay funny money to insure a shitty euro box -

Its not really the same thing but i passed my test 18 months ago and not got a car yet -
Now all you need is the ep3 spoiler or rep one so no work required and the bodywork will look mint.

Yeah its because cunts are claiming for fuck all. I passed my test 18 months ago just after i was 17 and am not prepared to pay shit loads in insurance unless its a decent car.
