I need the sensor which goes here, On the thermostat housing next to the green one. Have a feeling its a water temp one i need but im not 100%. For a GT Cheers, Dan.

Josh should be ashamed then haha. These motors are that old and have be owned by so many people, you never really know how theyve been treated or whats been done to them. I dont really mind with mine, bought it for cheap, stripped it down to its balls and now building it back up to how i want it and i'll know exactly whats been done.

My GT should be up and running soon, only on a ct9 though. Plan to run it for a while before changing to a bigger turbo. Done most of the supporting mods already + more to come, so when i feel like changing setups it will be straight forward because all supporting mods will be in place.

Just remembered something else, a previous owner has cut lots of metal away from the front near the chassis legs so a large front mount with really short pipework can be fitted... And a pic of how the box mount looked when i bought it lol.

Lots of bodged wiring on the GT, so much i had to buy new looms. Very unsafe gearbox mount too.

My impreza was laughable, the stuff i done to sell it that is lol !! I've found a few pikey things on the GT though...

Good plan, i need lots of parts sprayed. May aswell get a full respray but i couldn't justify the money tbh. The shell is pretty rough atm though...

Yeah man, pretty sure it will plug straight in just haven't checked yet. Never seen anybody put a glow panel on a silver GT, hopefully it will look ace !! Is your boot sprayed yet ?

I just did exactly that ^, put up a wanted thread for a hot pipe and within a couple of days got one delivered. Sorted.

Yes a MK1 boot will fit a MK3 I'm doing the exact same thing, got a MK1 boot and glow panel sitting here. Just needs sprayed and fitted. Only thing i haven't checked is if it plugs in or not.

Pick up a second hand FTE, drop it in, get it up and running then forge the other one in the meantime. Sorted.

mk1 gt bumper. does it need an extra Lip to look good ?

I've just bought a MK1 front bumper + lip too. It does look like it will sit pretty high. Id love the MK1 specific livesports lip but they are over 300 quid delivered on rhd japan. -
I dont owe anything either, but its taking me fucking months to build up this GT and it still isnt running yet. I found that ive been doing so much overtime and homers like a pro i have no time to fit the parts i buy haha.

Nice looking car, seen it on ebay. Being pedantic here haha, but its actually a MK2 GT Limited with a quadlight conversion. Limiteds are rarer than advances so winner.
