Yeah it's all good mate..I'm amazed at the difference a good service has made to this car.. Still got a very slight misfire high up the revs.. My mate was behind me earlyer and said it was spitting flames when it was missfireing must be sumthing to do with the map/fueling need to get it checked out

Also done a compression test this afternoon quite happy with the results engine seems healthy No1 No2 No3 No4

So these turned up from td today Thought it best to freshin things up a bit and do a oil change with it being sat for so long.. And oh my what a difference it's made like a compleaty different car to drive don't feel like a banger anymore lol

Would add value to the car dude people get put off by the autos

Also going to put the black/dark green boot I've got here on over the weekend mite look a bit stupid but the one on at the min is clean rotten

I havnt got a clue what going on with the roof dude looks like is bubbled in the sun or sumthing maybe been sat under a tree.. I'm doing a few things on the car now for mot next week and I've a few things orderd from td like new plugs dizzy etc will do a good service on it then going to get it mapped in a few weeks make sure it's all safe and drive away at it for a bit.. I'm not going to pile money into it tbh getting the body work sorted I want the mk1 that browner has posted above

Well finished off giving this a good clean and put the emanage in the glove box as it was just on the passenger side floor interior came up like new Now the nice pictures first I think Dint have time to do the wheels will compound them over the wkend alloy cleaner didn't do shit Bonnet is like new Lights came up well Looks good you say? Well here's the not so good bits

Cheers shorty I found the paint code on one of the links Daniel put up.. Seeing them old pictures really makes me want to get the paint sorted out..it's just so expensive round my way and hard to find a good painter tbh with a good rep

Yeah dude I get what you mean was hoping maybe the old owners would see this and know but I've searched for there user name and can't seem to find them

Any idea what the colour is do you think it's a toyota red? I've had a look online but not sure and the last owner don't know... Don't want to just touch it up with any old red lol

The boot is rotten mate but I've one here to go on as far as I can see that's the only rust on the car..it just need the roof painted and the gt kit arch trim etc taking off and the sides painted and it would be mint.. Body shops round my way charge a bloody fortune because the think everyone in this area is loaded so charge through the roof It would only be a rolling shell for sale mate as I wanna keep all the bits for another build
