Well folks, the td04/05 hybrid turbo has served me well. Despite it still running spot on, I decided to jump at the of taking this when it came up for sale. Shit just got real. GT28rs ballbering (obviously) turbo fitted to a racetech top mount kit. Item For Sale: Turbo kit. Item Condition & Description: Condition is perfect, working, and very very strong! Here we have a td04/td05 hybrid turbo with a custom externally gated manifold, custom extension for egw and custom screamer with front exit exhaust. Some information on the turbo and kit: The turbo is a td04/05 hybrid, rebuilt by Scooby-tech (or similar). The turbo has been opened up, ported and polished inside for better and increase in air flow and also polished on the outside too for looks. I don't know much info on the turbo as you can tell but im fairly confident it is what it is as has been checked out by a Subaru and evo specialist. The manifold is custom made, so a one off along with the downpipe to front exit which is all also custom made. The screamer pipe, and egw extension bracket are also custom made to fit. Little to no shaft play, no smoke on boost what so ever, no smoke on idle. 100% perfect in my eyes. Have only owned the kit for about 5/6 months. My car made 225bhp at just under 1 bar of boost on this kit. The spool time is the same as a td04, so don't start with the lag comments and questions. PLEASE NOTE: Tial wastegate IS NOT included as I need it for my next kit. All you need to be boosting is to buy a 38mm external wastegate. What you will receive: TD04/TD05 Turbo. Custom egw manifold. Custom front exit exhaust. Custom screamer pipe with brace. Custom extension spacer to mount egw. Race tech oil feed line. Oil return silicone pipe. Price: £350 plus postage. Pictures: As below. (please do excuse the grubby bay, haven't had time to clean it in ages. Also it's not rusty, it's just where water has sat on top (will be fully cleaned and polished prior to buyers possession)). Chris, Sorry to have to read something like that in your first post especially after spending that much money! Terrible thing and must feel absolutely gutting. IMO, you shouldn't have to pay a single penny. It should 110% still be under some sort of warranty from the guys above, therefore it should be up to them to rectify the issue because after all it was in their hands when the car was built, tuned, bla bla. All you did was drive it how it should have been driven, nothing you can do exactly right? I'm sure you'll get it sorted mate, it seems like they will take care of things and hopefully as said leave it up to themselves to rectify it! Will be good to see what happens so be sure to update whatever happens fella. Hope all is ok since your last major post in this section man, take it easy! x

Yeah I did like the look of the xxr's but it drove like absolute shit and with the car as it is, I.e caged up and a lot of weight saved, I love to use it round corners. Thanks Iddy!
