Got a free day today so decided to sit the splitter on the jack but while the car was on the floor just to see ground clearance levels and how i'm going to make the L brackets up. Ground clearance is still good, plenty of room for bumps etc. Here's some pics (don't mind the angle of the splitter at the front, obv the jack is pushing it up a bit but it will sit flat when it's done); http://s688.photobucket.com/user/Bmx_Robb/media/IMAG2059_zpsb8bd1e67.jpg.html'> http://s688.photobucket.com/user/Bmx_Robb/media/IMAG2055_zpsdb0d2af0.jpg.html'> http://s688.photobucket.com/user/Bmx_Robb/media/IMAG2056_zpsba7d58a4.jpg.html'> http://s688.photobucket.com/user/Bmx_Robb/media/IMAG2057_zpsd1b7d4d6.jpg.html'> http://s688.photobucket.com/user/Bmx_Robb/media/IMAG2061_zps236105c3.jpg.html'> And for those wondering two things which I expect they might be.. 1 - This is how far it sticks out from a view from the rear (6mm). http://s688.photobucket.com/user/Bmx_Robb/media/IMAG2060_zps46bed51f.jpg.html'> 2 - This is how far into the engine bay it is; http://s688.photobucket.com/user/Bmx_Robb/media/IMAG2054_zpsc419e1de.jpg.html'> For some reason in the pictures it looks like it sticks out the front quite far, and I forgot to measure exactly how far out it is. But it's not as much as it looks, and remember when it's black it will look a lot smaller! But hey, balls out is the direction i'm heading for so all is well. Will be ordering the rods tonight to hold the splitter to the bumper and in the mean time I will fab up some brackets (at least 4) to hold the back of the splitter to the chassis. C+C welcome.
