  1. Got the last one on after mate :D went for a wee drive but was pissing down and where I switched the front and back tyres its like driving on ice.

Need alignment done, maybe tommorow also gott sort a few other things out in the daylight.

Opinions so far, HARSH! Might get used to it.. also makes worrying noises at the back when the roads a bit uneven. Thoughts?

  2. Depends if I get them all fitted :D , 2 are fitted at the moment just waiting for it to stop hailing :D

Had to go to a garage to get the bolts loosened as they had well and truly seized, only had em taken off in january :(

    Edit 5:05 PM

3 are now on :( getting me haircut now though...

  3. Didn't get anything with them unfortunatly, but a friend of mine has a set of C spanners so will pinch one off him...

I do know what you mean Ste, but sometimes you have to take chances to make progress...

  4. Thats one of the reasons I got them Joz, I knew you had a set and though they must be Pro ;)

Total came to about £400ish but thats probably because they were really cheap on the auctions.

I plan to get the front and rear almost even with a nice gap between the arch and tyre. I like how the front sits at the moment on just springs but the back is too high so these should do the trick.

  6. 77.2 BHP At The Wheels - God knows what it is at the fly :p

Yeah I got it RR'd at the TDi day with the S injectors, they showed me it was lean so (once I had my new wing) I swapped the injectors over and got a new exhaust :p So from my last reading its 77.2 BHP At The Wheels and thats whilst its lean and had a shitty 'zorst :p

  7. you cheap cunts.

    also, i had a cadbury's hot chocolate in work today (one of the 'just add hot water' ones, in a little old school purple packet, the type of packaging and font they havent used for many years), it was dated Feb 2000. ^^;

    tasted fine.

Thats because they will outlast the sun... you just wont have any water to mix them :p

  8. 120....but look at the ammount of money you will spend for little gains. Might aswell get used to the 90 or whatever (if its your 1st car, thats immense power compared to some shit boxes) and get the FTE or move on.

^^ Depends on your driving style and what you want out of the car...

  9. Agreed, I think the 4EFE has some potential, it's just most people either stop after the basic mods or move onto the Glanza/GT/5EFE/4EFTE.

140 does seem a bit wild though, 120 is a bit more realistic.

Well if it makes 100 with 3 mods thats 25bhp more than stock - suposidly... with the mods I mentioned and a rev limit of 9k i don't see why its not possible - Check out Type R legends on youtube

VTec's get 100 bhp per litre with the long duration higher lift cam engaged so it possible. they just have the smaller cam for economy and drivabilty. just whack your idle up to 1500 rpm should be fine :p

  10. Theres 1 near me ^^ 55k on the clock (well they have like 60 now :p ) Now I've told you this I will have to kill you all :p

Just waiting for the good old personal injury claim to come through (don't worry its not one of them I walked into a cabnet draw so now im off to magaluf ones ) and I may snap the 5e up...

Oh yeah back on topic... Pretty much what people have said before really after that its port 'n polish, cams, valve springs, rods, managment, ITBs, high comp headgasket etc

I reckon with all that 4EFE would be 140ish maybe who knows :p
