Wondering if anyone can recommend a quiet back box I can weld in, in place of my current loud droney back box lol. Not got the cash for a full system, and the insert I've got is hugely restrictive when it come to turbo spool time.

I don't think I'd live long if I was that close to a KFC. Need to get some sort of meet organised! Quite a few folk in this area.

haha where do you stay?
-
Haha cheers. Yea im in the Killin b&b, parked it there so i can see it out the window

I will eventually buy emb, but in the meantime im looking at getting an SAFC2. I already have a rrFPR, fcd, and wideband. Would it be the case of upping the fuel pressure until it runs rich throughout the rev range. Then using the SAFC to reduce the richness so its perfect at individual rev points?
-
Im trying to understand how an fcd affects fueling so hoping someone can help. The fuel cut defender intercepts the signal from the MAP sensor. On the 4efte the map sensor shows roughly 4v at 0.85bar. The ECU will cut if it sees over 4v. A clamp type FCD such as an HKS will not allow a signal higher than 4v to get to the ECU. Does that then mean that, if i am running 1bar of boost, and reach 0.85bar at 2200rpm, the ecu will only see 4v from then until redline? So the ecu can only calculate fuel for the engine running up to 0.85bar. So running at 1bar boost will only have 0.85 bar worth of

Yea, was a police checkpoint. Working in helenburgh all week.

Silver Glanza with mid spoiler, anyone on here? Turned off at helensburgh

turned out to be the actuator, mine holds 0.55 perfectly all the way through
-
Ok thanks for info. The actuator is mounted pretty well, so it must just be faulty. I'll give him a loan of mine to see if that sorts out the problem.
-
Its an HKS adjustable from his CT9 setup, used the standard bracket but drilled an extra hole in it. He has an ebc, but it still creeps even with it plumbed in.
-
At the moment its just a vac hose from the compressor to the actuator/internal wastegate
-
Just finished helping my mate with his TD04 conversion (jealous ) When we took it out a run it seems to be creeping quite badly. At around 3-4k boost holds at 0.6 bar, then after about 5k it keeps getting higher and higher. He did have slight creep on his ct9 setup, even after porting the wastegate. Any ideas?
