Back in July I was issued with an ASBO because of how loud the chatter from the car was (lol) Then last night when i was driving home from work, I was pulled over by some traffics who were doing a speed trap. Which was weird as i was doing about 50 at the time. Turned out i had overtaken an off duty police officer who had considered my overtake to be "Inconsiderate" Absolutely no way to contest this, he need not provide any proof. basically i was fucked. Recovery firm were called, and after a few blocks of wood were placed, the car was on the back of a lorry. A couple hours later, and £150

    Tighten AUX Belts

    Nice1 ill give that a go. Do you mean the bolt on top of the alternator? Keep getting the noise when im accelerating, so folk are looking at me thinking im doing mad wheel spins haha.
  3. Wondering if anyone can tell me how to tighten the AUX belts, Im getting an intermittant squealing noise coming from one of them, not sure which though. Cheers

  5. Petrol is considerably dearer where i am, so £50 fills it, and i get about 550-600km's from it.
  6. Been calculating my Average consumption each time i fill up and quite frankly its awesome! Ive been getting around 44mpg, on A roads where i live. I knew they wouldnt be thirsty as its only a 1.3 but was only expecting around 30 tbh. And i dont drive like a granny either! haha So whats everyone else getting? Mods are: Filter relocation FMIC decat+full exhaust FCD rrFPR 3.4bar and 1bar boost on CT9

  9. Where abouts is the dipstick seal located? Or do you just mean the rubber seals that are just under the lid/handle of the stick when u remove it from the pipe?
  10. Ive got a leak coming from the Cam belt side of the Engine. I tried resealing the sump but no joy. Im assuming its the crank seal, so was wondering if someone knows where i can get one. Cheers
  11. There is a bit of black smoke when really nailing it. It holds boost fine, and spools pretty quick. about 3600 rpm for full boost. What fuel pressure are you running on standard ecu and td04?
  12. Yea, hes got an FCD. Hes had the car about 2 years, and was running 1bar on his CT9 for that time.
  13. Its on standard ECU, and had fueling setup with a wideband, and fpr. Emanage, is his next on the list. But hes really disappointed as he thought that the difference should have been huge even without a piggyback.
  14. Wondering what would cause a TD04 at 1bar to feel slower than a CT9 at 1bar boost. My mates been running his TD04 for about a month, and id agree with him, after driving it, that it just doesnt feel as quick as it did with the CT9. According to his boost gauge, its boosting fine, with no leaks, and its at full boost around 3600 rpm. Just doesnt seem to have the same kick as it did. Could it be that its just alot smoother?   18. Yea, thinking about it, it probably wouldnt work, since the Hi/Low is a toggle, and the Alt is just a button.
  19. Wondering if its possible, and has anyone tried wiring the Hi/Lo boost button on the Dash, into an HKS EVC 4's Alt function. Cheers
  20. Does it creep when you run without the ebc, just a pipe from turbo to actuator?
  21. He had no trouble at all, there was plenty of space up at the inlet manifold
  22. The offset on mine is how aggressively the Controller will find peak boost. 100 is Neutral Your turn it down to say 80, which will make it spool quicker, but also more likely to overboost. Turning it up, to say 120, will make it take longer to reach peak boost, but less chance of overboosting. (on an external gate its the other way around) The EVC I've, will adjust itself slowly if you over or underboost, which is annoying, for me I found out to turn off the feature, you turn the car on, turn the evc off, hold MOD, and switch the SW-PO switch, then let go of MOD and switch it back. note: da
