The offset on mine is how aggressively the Controller will find peak boost. 100 is Neutral Your turn it down to say 80, which will make it spool quicker, but also more likely to overboost. Turning it up, to say 120, will make it take longer to reach peak boost, but less chance of overboosting. (on an external gate its the other way around) The EVC I've, will adjust itself slowly if you over or underboost, which is annoying, for me I found out to turn off the feature, you turn the car on, turn the evc off, hold MOD, and switch the SW-PO switch, then let go of MOD and switch it back. note: damn forum keeps changing I V to i've
