Also, when starting from cold, the battery and oil light are on, then if i rev it they go off after a loud squeel from the engine bay

Made it home in one piece, happened loads of times though. The battery, oil and abs lights come on. If i accelerate hard the battery and oil light go off but the abs light stays on till i restart the ignition. Only thing ive done to the car recent is bleed the clutch, I did spill some fluid when topping up, so maybe thats going into the alternator?

All warning lights coming on till car is restarted, checked under bonnet all seems fine

Mine was leaking quite alot a while ago, so i took it off cleaned the gasket and the joining surfaces, then put a shit load of sealant on the cap cover things. It was fine for a few months but now its leaking again, think i might have used too much sealant.

Yea they are adjustable, usually u have to open them up to get at the screw, but someones obviously cut away a window to make it easier

Im hoping it will reduce the drone a bit and give me a few bangs

An FCD doesnt alter fueling or ignition either.

Not something i plan on using, but i was thinking about it and it makes sense that it would work. My understanding is that you set up a FCD so that it tricks the ECU into thinking its not running any more than 0.8bar (roughly). This is done by altering the signal from the MAP sensor to the ECU. Surely the same could be obtained by fitting a Dawes device to the Hose going from the Inlet mani to the map sensor. It would be installed using a T-piece and would vent to atmosphere. So you would just set it to vent boost over 0.8bar. All a dawes device is, is a ball and spring that is tightened

No definately isnt a spill. Ive driver 140miles and its still happening. Must have put too much in, i'll drain it and fill it again

Just serviced the car with the oil i always use, for some reason now when i accelerate i get a strong oil smell. Cant see any leaks. Any ideas? If i put too much oil in would it be coming out the breather?
