Is there any way to stop the HKS EVC I've from adjusting boost offset by itself. Currently have it at 114 but it keeps putting its self up ever so slowly.

wouldnt the flutter be down to the shape/angle of the compressor blades? yea ive got an hks evc I've hopefully its up to the job

So ive got a TD04 and Toyosports mani and decat on the way. What can i do to make it spool quicker? Ive heard that wrapping the full exhaust helps, i have an airfilter relocation and HKS full exhaust.

Success! 1.02 bar at 2500 rpm. Think I'm needing a new actuator spring

Yea basically you put it in 4th, and go steady at 2.5k rpm, then floor it, and as the needle is just about to hit 3k look at the boost gauge.

Getting a 1 bar boost at 3k rpm now, just had to adjust actuator

i have a HUD that i can change between speed, rpm, boost. Pretty useful , when u dont have some sort of boost leak/dodgey actuator :L

Maybe its just wound out too far. And the exhaust gas is opening the wastegate.

Just under 4k Im getting about 0.8-0.85 at 3k

a plug and play would make sense, as its much quicker than a friends Glanza with the same mods. Ill get a pic of the ecu up

Ok cool, cheers Ported out the wastegate a bit more, so need to adjust the actuator accordingly

Im running 1bar on a Ct9, with all supporting mods. Which rpm should i be expecting to reach full boost?

Ive been thinking about either going td04 or keeping it simple and getting a hybrid. the car currently has some kind of hybrid but no idea which lol, been looking at the speed vision ones

So ive got my Glanza set up to 1bar with supporting mods. The ebc has a scramble button, so i was wondering if using it to scramble to 1.2 for overtaking would have any real benefit, in terms of power.

I know its not Starlet related, so if this is the wrong place, sorry. I just wanted some opinions. My brother has build a MK5 Escort RS2000 with a MK1 Focus RS engine in it. It has an OMEX 600 ecu, and frount mount. Apart from that its standard focus rs. He took it to AVA in Glasgow to get it running. They said a few sensors needed replaced so to leave the car with them and they will get it done. Now its complete'ish. They want £1000. From what my brother has told me they used £80 of fuel on the dyno, and they have only got the car running 200bhp. Well below what was expected. The guy said it was very complicated to set up and get right, (200bhp is not what i would call "right") Surely its not that complicated to set up a standard engine on an aftermarket ecu? Also the guy has disconnected the actuator, saying that the backpressure from the exhaust is enough to hold it closed (wtf) This all sounds a bit mental to me
