    Fair enough, it's unlikely the cover will be like for like when compared but if the quotation is correct and price is competitive, go for it. If you are planning any future modifications, it may be an idea to find out whether the insurer will cater for these.

    Stop using price comparison sites when trying to insure a specialist car. There are many specialist insurers out there who cater for imported cars.

    Dont mean to wee on your chips but have you checked the insurance out with the modifications fitted? May be as expensive as insuring a turbo..

    I'm seeing a lot of people getting burnt with IN10 convictions when they come to claim and the insurers ask for proof of trading. No proof of trading - void insurance Traders insurance - great for traders - not a cheap way to insure your personal car

    We start at age 19 or over with a full 2 years driving experience, we need at least one year claim free and can only offer TPFT cover for anyone aged under 21.
