  18. Good news... the BBS' are finally assembled and fitted after all that time and money! While i assembled the wheels, i took photos of the process how i assembled my split rims.... firstly i went over all the the deep dishes (2xhalf inch deep, 2xinch deep) with like a hard sponge, not sure of the correct name, but it certainly got most marks out by doing this... as you can see its on the end of the drill and the drill is mounted to the workbench... after all 4 dishes was complete i then went on to different stages of sand papering them down.. starting with 600, then 800, then 1200. when the sand papering was done i went onto the polishing which i luckily own a machine, i used a polishing soap but auto sol is just as good photos below show how the dishes turned out after polishing.... while i was busy doing the dishes i had the bases powder coated gold (like a subaru gold) now i had to sort out the bolts which i came up with a problem with. when i took the bolts out of the bag it came in i counted 118 bolts, plus 1 odd one and 1 snapped one and i needed 120. so i went out and bought myself new one which i was pretty shocked at the price for bolts, but it had to be done! i still went through the process of cleaning the 118 bolts and i done it but soaking them in genuine coca cola... next photo is just a sneak peek of what they would look like with dishes on. (at this time i was waiting for my center caps to be painted) center caps came back... sneak peek of all wheels with dishes on and center caps in... the night we actually assembled the wheels when the new bolts arrived. i went for Gold bolts as it wasnt much in it with price difference with the chrome bolts and with the turn out i was glad i went for gold bolts! i cleaned out all the threads first... applied silicone on... put the dishes on and bolted them.... (the boy above gave me a massive hand assembling the wheels) after assembling ..... before and after.... all i needed to do now is put tyres on and fit them to the car... now on the car..... fitted private plate at the same time...... popped down the gower for the weekend. but now need my arches rolled lol.... would love to hear your feed back... dont be shy!!
