Lol i like the idea of building a sleeper (got next to no experience myself but a mate used to build custom cars and im gonna trade some tree work for his talents) i'd defo be interested in any bits you might have......plans are: Big brakes, coilovers (possibly), rear axle off a Glanza, Glanza bonnet..........& then the turbo (when i find a low mile engine and a bag of cash!lol) Trouble with trying to find a whole car is i want bits from the front end and the rear axle so i need a car thats been Tboned rather than your standard head-on or arse-ender!

(They removed a heat sheild when fitting his exhaust, didnt tell him and the engine went into meltdown on a motorway run!) My names Joe by the way

Thanks guys....sounds like a bit of a mission, my boot lids not in the best condition anyhow. Seems to have rotted a bit around the wiper hole so a whole boot maybe the way forward! Not bought it yet so ill hold fire....thanks again!

Evening all, just became the proud owner of a 98 SR (was only really looking for a "to work and home" run about to replace my Hilux) but found the SR up for sale and took a bit of a risk and a day long mission up to Bristol to bring it back to the Isle of wight) always loved the look of the SR's (this ones a little tired with mega miles on the clock) but longterm plan is to drop a low mile turbo engine in and get suspention and brakes sorted, keeping it as a bit of a ratty sleeper. I used to own a GTti charade and have always wanted something else that had that turbo go cart feel.......could a starlet fill that hole, i think so!
