turbominicooper
hello all, im getting error codes 24 (IAT) and 42 (VSS). looking at the wiki am i right in thinking that the ecu pin that gets it signals for IAT from is THA?where does the ecu get the VSS signal from? my setup is a bit convoluted in the way i have a 4efte on an auto loom and gearbox, a manual GT ecu and a glanza temp IAT. below was the pinout for the 5e auto vs 4et manual ecu, i have 7 different wires that may not go to the same place, does anyone recognise these and should i make sure they reach their destinations; VSV1, IPV, TE1, TE2, BC, ELS, AC1? cheers, ryan
5e colin
did you read that from your 5efhe ecu or pinout online ????? as the pinout online is for acis ecu and is pinned a tat diferent vsv1 is the solenoid for hi lo boost you will have to run a wire to the in take temp sensor ( 24) 12 could just be bad connection check al the terminals for corossion and loose fit on ecu and ignition system in the bay
turbominicooper
Actual pin comparison on both ecu. That vsv1 is getting a reading from whatever the s/th pin is?? Bc is boost control where would that wire go to? Edited June 7, 2016 by turbominicooper
turbominicooper
Found the only link on the Web that describes s/th as a T-vis solenoidhttp://club4ag.com/tech-data/tech-specs/4a-gze-usa-aw11-ecu-pin-identifications/Any ideas where that would have been on a 5efhe auto?? Bean
If the 5efhe had acis maybe some could be for the solenoid to control actuator to change over between the two sets of runners.
5e colin
If the 5efhe had acis maybe some could be for the solenoid to control actuator to change over between the two sets of runners. comes out of a automatic serra no acis in them
turbominicooper
If the 5efhe had acis maybe some could be for the solenoid to control actuator to change over between the two sets of runners. i had read about this being possible but like colin said auto = no acis. might just have to snip it?? not using hi-lo solenoid or s/th (whatever it is) eitherway
