humming noise

Every now and again a have got a humming noise, i think it is cuming from the front wheels but im not sure

just wondering if anyone else has had the same kinda problem?

and know wot it is.

also when on bumpy roads the steering is very undecisive (spelling) on where it wants to go, like the steering wheel will move.....if that makes any sense to anyone.

any help would be good

I had this "noise", and it was a wheel bearing, I got a new one now the noise has gone.

o rite. i have had a quick wobble of the wheels and i cant feel any play......maybe i should jus replace both front bearing and see if it goes.

Well mine was on the back wheel but I have a feeling the front one is buggered too, so I'm just going to replace all of mine when I service it in a few months.

Defiantly sounds like a wheel bearing mate, just jack it up and give the wheels a spin if there is a rumbling noise from any of them, then theres your problem.
