much difference between 1e and 2e

as above is the much power difference between the two of them i find the 1e very dead like trying to even take off it feels brutally slow

i was going to check timing as i think its slightly off could just be me but looking to see if its worth my while picking up a 2e lump and sticking it in ive to pull the 4 speed out in the next few weeks and fit the 5 speed i picked up for it

ive been told i can fit the 2e-e lump just mean i need to block up the injector holes and fit the carb setup instead but what way do i go about fitting the cam driven fuel pump drill out the head and fit the pump

Go 16 valve you wont look back. Fucked around with 12 valves for ages and they dont compare to a 16valve.

Not much of a job to convert if you have everything there. Running mine on a standalone efi loom chopped down by Richard clark.

I had a built hot rod 2e engine in my EP70. It was a quick little engine it hit 125 mph. I'd just go 4efe and modify the loom to fit it
