EP70-PT
So, as I installed my ITB's, I had to remove the Idle control system and the little 3 pin green sensor thaat was on the old throttle body, my problem is now my idle is hard to fine tune and if I leave it off, the CEL pops on with the idle control code, is there a way to control my idle better without my car dying in the first 10 seconds after starting? already tried the screw on the ITB's and if I go any further it just accelerates to redline ahah, can I trick the ECU without affecting idle? EP70-PT
Could it be my fuel pressure? (Oem reg) or the fact that I'm really low on fuel???
5e colin
whats the pressure ??? stock ?? then no cant be the way i see it you either set the tps properly whitin spec OR set your throttle linkages on al bodies to set them al up you know like they do on bike carbs to set equal air flow this has a major inpact on stationary running more info on them tt body balancing here http://joeblogs.eu/2015/08/04/triumph-tt600-throttle-balancing/ have you also checked how much vacuum your getting in your custom vacuum tank might be not enough ? 5e colin
no you dont get it it has nothing to do with a vacuum leak it has to do with setup of throttlebodie al 4 need to be the same do some research on throttlebobie setups and how they effect the engine
EP70-PT
I get it mate, every throttle needs the same amount of air going through or it won't work, I need to balance them
5e colin
bingo and while you are at it do this to the body first thats connected to the tps just do as they say in the link use the ohm settings to get tps in ints range for the ecu http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showwiki.php?title=TPS+throttle+position+sensor+set+up+procedure
EP70-PT
The first one isn't adjustable, I'll take the car to a bike shop, they'll know what to do ahah
