Lowering starlet

Hi got my first starlet and wanted to get advice on lowering, i dont want to go too low but now ive got nee wheels its way too high. I want to spend as little as possible and it could be just a short term thing. Lowering springs or coilovers and which ones etc? Any advice appreciated

If you want to go as cheap as possible go for some lowering springs mate

Just worried because suspension seems a bit floaty, not sure if the shocks shot.. Only done 72000 miles tho so not sure as obvs my first starlet

A good set of lowering springs will kill a set of tired shocks soon. The fronts tend to suffer more but are cheap to replace

So tou saying ill probably need to replace stock shocks at front? Or shall i just get lowering springs for now?

Lowering springs put more stress on the shocks so if they're on there way out the extra stress will kill them off

The shocks will be tired. Fitting lowering springs will put them under more stress. If fitting springs you may aswell replace the shocks too. Cheaper than coilovers.
