Starlet SR K&N Question

Hello everyone!

So i recently got a 1999 starlet SR, decided i was going to upgrade the air filter to an K&N Panel.

In the picture below (which i hope works!) You can see its the wrong shape/size.

Brought through ECP using my number plate so is allegedly the 'Correct' fitment. Even on the K&N website the numbers match up - Part number - 33-2094

Can someone confirm im not just being silly thats this indeed the wrong one and doesnt go in at a different angle? As im sure these are ment to slot in as per original.
