starletezy Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 As above third gear keeps poping out for some odd reason anyone got any suggestions? Thanks Tez Quote
akyakapotter Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Could be cables but I'm 95% it's 3rd gears synchro Quote
starletezy Posted September 12, 2016 Author Posted September 12, 2016 Hope not might try bleed the system and see it that helps all the cables seem fine Quote

Starlet__SR Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Check your oil level, any excess movement in the engine mounts? Quote
starletezy Posted September 12, 2016 Author Posted September 12, 2016 Mine popped out of 5th a few times on the way to and back from jae Must be some kind of common problem hopefully we can find what's callusing it Check your oil level, any excess movement in the engine mounts? All engine mounts are solid Polly bushed so no movement did give the box an oil change recently was fine will give it a check again Quote

A worn synchro will only make changes a little hard, not cause it to drop the gear itself. Quote
maddox710 Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I always used premium oil in my gearboxes, (Millers nanodrive) never had a slight problem. Always made for smoother box. Quote
starletezy Posted September 12, 2016 Author Posted September 12, 2016 Used qulity oil also this started happening long after might be an worn selector it dont click into gear on third might look into that cheers guys Quote
