Dizzy / Heavy load issue

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I'm having a few issues under load ordered a replacement Dizzy from someone on here but it wasn't right.

Cleaned up my Dizzy and the car was running fine but is now going into a limp mode once more.

Any recommendations on a fix or what i could be looking at to remove the Dizzy from the equation.

Thanks in advance.

Either oil getting inside the dizzy or short under load???

It's probly not the dizzy but a connection somewhere

Could also be king or ignition lead shorting under load

Cheers bud looking into shorts at the moment as when the hazards are on it goes into limp mode just like it does under load

Thanks for the help guys, The issue seems to be an electrical fault.

Currently having the loom re-wired to rectify the issue.

parts replaced to far:

- Dizzy

- Fuel Pump

- Clutch (previous clutch worn)

- rocker (cover re-sealed due to an oil leak)

Just seems to be multiple issues but hopefully will have the car back by the end of the month
