Cattanach Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Anyone on here who can weld the wastegate shut on my ct12 if I were to send it to them ?
Starlet__SR Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Either find someone local or Midland Turbo.
Ollieh17 Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 I always used to just tack the actuator arm in closed position. Know anyone with a mig or stick welder? Take 2mins
Cattanach Posted November 14, 2016 Author Posted November 14, 2016 Nah don't know anyone who can weld unfortunately!Thought I would try here first haha
jamesglanza Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 There's no metal fabricators, garages or local welders near you? I'm sure if you gave them a tenner they would weld it for you in there lunch break
Cattanach Posted November 15, 2016 Author Posted November 15, 2016 There is just thought someone on here might want to earn some cash haha
triple j Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 U could make up a little bracket that bolts to where the actuator was and the other end hooked over the waste gate arm holding it shut.
adzy Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 U could make up a little bracket that bolts to where the actuator was and the other end hooked over the waste gate arm holding it shut.I made one of these and then used a threaded bar so you could tighten it shut, did a good job
