140 is ok for a fresh built low comp engine. But cylinder 1 may be an issue.

Why where you doing a compression test? Any reason?

If not it may just be that the rings in that cylinder need a little more time and some load.

Was just curious really. I no the rings may need a bit of time but the guy said he had an issue with the valve guides so I was wondering maybe that was cylinder one!? Hopefully nothing as it cost a lot! :(

Did another one tonight just to confirm and with warm engine and throttle open I got 135 150 150 135 so seems to be a bit better. Think once it's all run in should be okay, anyone had dealings with race tech?

Usually a difference of 15psi / 1bar between cylinders indicates a problem in that cylinder, your second test shows that in 1 & 4. Do a leak down test on it and see if it changes the results
