What is this on the igniter coil ?

Hi guys, got around to wrapping my loom today and i noticed something i wasnt sure of. Its attatched to the ignition coil(i think its called) and it has a few hoses coming off it.

I read somewhere that your idle might need adjusted after removing it. But mine hasn't been started since so not sure

Im midway through a converion so all the teething problems will be sorted in good time
