Dean_mc88 Posted February 11, 2017 Share Posted February 11, 2017 Has anyone had an issue with the throttle sticking but only when the car is on.When the car is off I can play with the throttle and it will return to the stop pin.When the car is on the car will hold the throttle open and keep it there until the car is turned off an the throttle will return.I've cleaned the throttle up and greased it so it does freely move and there isn't any crap in the throttle.Could it just be the return spring has become week ? Considering a helper spring is this is the case until going for an updated inlet and throttle body. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
akyakapotter Posted February 11, 2017 Share Posted February 11, 2017 Mine returns fine when I use my hand if I'm driving it's like having cruise control and won't return to normal Idle untill I blip the throttle when slowing down is really annoying.
