decat problem

installing decat today.havin trouble gettin lambda sensor out of old cat and into new onw.wats d story?its a siza 22mm spanner but cant get it wrapped around it.is there any special tool or anything for removing it?

no mate, jsut brute strength. lol.

soak it inside and out in WD40. then try to shock it off.

ha believe it or not there is actually a special tool for it.its like the top of a ratchet and the steel is really thin with a bit missin up the side of it to allow the wire space.brought it to a garage top get removed.two second job:)

you should have used the spanner and the wd40 you big girl

When loosening a tight nut, soat it in WD40 as Rick said, but give a good smack with a spanner before trying to remove it. The threads wiil have corroded together a little over time and smacking it will break the bond the nut has with the thread.

Then give it a go and if you stil cant do it get a garage to do it and then join a gym. ;)

ha funny shit. no i couldn get a spanner wrapped around the bolt and wz afraid of roundin it.cuda been trouble then
