  1. the thing is if you do fork out the extra few quid for the coilovers ul a) sell them far easier if you decide to break the car B ) better in every shape and form performance wise c) springs will be shocking if you decide to serious mod the car d) coilovers will be easier to fit rather than getting springs fitted to shocks etc.
  2. ha no i doubt it very much on that spec.although i have tapped 225kph before having to slow down with about another 2k left in 5th gear.converts to 142mph but i had 260bhp td04
  3. savage.is it timed via crank sensors?are they hard wire in?i loved the idea of installing coil packs but never got around to it.ha id say i had more than 220atw in my car when it was built.no probs with the dizzy cap thank god.dyno sheet makes the turbo look very laggy.id say your greatful for them nitrous bottles:)
  4. one word 5e! its not a problem on 5e and his posted and polished head and intake plenum helps alot. this car is gorgeous.is setting up the coil pack hard?is it worth the gains?over here we all still use the distributor:(
  5. FACT or you could try totting up your posts on toyotagtturbo.com ha ;) ;)
  6. i have one.i have a grex oil filter relocation kit and now an oil cooler and thermostat.i dont understand how you mean they kink?im running my pipe off the td04l so that could be the differnce.are you on ct9?i cant see how they would kink.what relocation kit you have?
  7. yes as it would raise CR.if you got your hands on a cruise 1.4 one you wont need a map.perhaps get it express delivered from rhdjapan.com?...or even shop around the manufacturing companys in england for a 1.4 gasket?
  8. get the trust greddy one off rhd japan.108euro delivered.looks well aswel
  9. i want some too.let me see the final picture of them.id love this one...
  10. maybe the engine needs to be retimed to deal with your new and working thermostat.it could have been adjusted and timed according to the old thermostat causing the engine to be cold and idle high.mine had to be readjusted after the new thermostat went in and head gasket done 2 days after the work was done.nothing major
