Gtx 2867r with exhaust housing ar.72 GEN 2

Anyone have the same turbo fitted? What have you people do for the vband flanges. Universal ones dont fit and i cannot find from anywhere.

The Gen 2 GTX turbio's have not long been released, probably find there won't be many, if anyone running one yet.

The .72 housing is a little large for a small motor.

The vbands to suit the housings are proprietary from Garrett so you need to buy theirs - have been down this road... sucks a bit

PS: Yes, the .72 will be peaky, Id go for the .58 instead.

Yes i know its a bit peaky but im running a 1.5 block with fully forged engine and tuned to the max. Also want the car for drag use.

What compression ratio and cams are you going to use?

I dont know whats the fuss. here in malta we put gtx30 and 35s on our starlets...drag use

Was just asking out of interest so don't get your tits in a twist. If it's just for drag then you may be better going up to the gt30 frame as you say. Plenty of housing options around. Good long merge into the housing will help get it on song. Good luck
