ep82paul Posted March 18, 2017 Share Posted March 18, 2017 Hi all I've recently put a 5e engine in me car which has been a good motor till now I started the car up and it chucking loads of white smoke out I have pulled spark plugs out they all covered in oil just done a compression test and got 180 180 190 180 is that OK could the headgasket go and still have this compression and we're the head meets the block looks like it's leaking oil any advice would be great Quote Link to post Share on other sites

ep82paul Posted March 19, 2017 Author Share Posted March 19, 2017 Checked pcv that's OK I've just had the car started to check ignition timing that's OK but car temp was half way but luke warm heaters and Warter started to come out overflow on radiator i pulled de cat off and there was white sludge could this be head gasket still have good compression aswell Quote Link to post Share on other sites
