i cant see the stock main caps lasting long if you are looking to run antilag. I think billet main caps are a must for the sake of reliability if you are looking to go down this route

I did for couple months steve..

Took ages to get used to it. And was harder to control car mid corner front wheels just lost more traction coming out of a bend.

But it definately did work.

Can your turbo take it?

Cylinder head is the main concern, the valve seats.


Risk at burning out valve seats unless their changed to something like Beryllium. Carbon build up around the seat creates hot spots which are at risk of putting the seat at a localized extreme high temperature.

Ive run it off and on for years - trick is to get the antilag settings spot on in your tune. It is hard on gear but I havent had any failures because of it... yet. PS cyclic idle cool down sounds cool.
