5efte won't start without easystart

Hi, I did a 5efte conversion on my ep70 and I can't seem to get the engine to fire first time without easy start? Once it starts it'll run, but just won't kick without it....is this an injector issue?

Could be a number of things... have you checked/set the static timing? (bridge out the two pins on the diagnostic plug to lock timing, set to 10 degrees btdc)

ECU coolant temp sensor?

TPS?

ICV?

etc...

unplug (or change if you have spares) one sensor at a time and see if anything changes

to me sounds like ecu water temp sensor faulty / bad connection to sensor and our engines will hardly start when that happens

our ecus really rely on that sensor on cold start

Coolant temp sensor plug is broken so that could be my issue I'll pick one up and try it then go from there so

that will; be it so that sensor is a must for ecu cold start

If you put the ecu into diagnostic mode you will like find an error for the ECT sensor

Changed sensor still won't fire first kick, it'll start and run if I spray fuel/easy start into throttle body tho and it'll run fine, although when it's cold if I press accelerator it dies down and nearly cuts out unless I tap accelerator lightly to bulld up revs any ideas?
