The Trooper 1815
Just picked up a 1998 S plate White Starlet 1.3.Only 39k ( check against the DVLA database). What a cracking little runaround. Its a bit tatty but a good starter canvas. I'll be after some bits soon so are there any recommendations for a breaker in South Wales. Calum122
Hello and welcome. Amazing that you can find them with such low miles. It's a great car to use as a run around.
The Trooper 1815
Cheers butty.Yep it was love at first sight. My commute is not long enough for a big comfy car. I have been a great advocate of a little chugger for years. The current 6N2 Polo as had it's day and as I have had quite a few JDM Subaru's it was a no brainer.Saves fuel on the weekend car as well. Ollieh17
On a good day I get 360/380 miles/64 litres with the ECO mode but if it is disengage on an enthusiastic day around the Brecon Beacons I can get about 16 I did average 26 mpg over 1600 miles to Wofenbuttel (Home of Jagermeister) with some enthusiastic driving on the unrestricted Autobahn, mine is a manual. I guess they are at the age where the automatic is worse on fuel than the manuals. I average about 25mpg over 8 mile round trip, start stop traffic. With a remap it will be about 280 so close to your average spec b i assume? Edited August 15, 2017 by Ollieh17
The Trooper 1815
Yes it is a JDM Spec B GT 2.0l twinscroll. My second one to be honest and the only future mod would be a UK H6 6 speed and diff.
