typh183 Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Picked up a glanza auto and its making a loud whining noise sounds like the turbo spooling up but its not. Showed a friend today and he said it will be the torque converter. Just wondering if this is something anyone has experienced? Quote

Ep71T Posted October 6, 2018 Posted October 6, 2018 Usually its the wire mesh filter in the drain pan of the box thats clogged up. The pump is trying to suck atf through it making that noise. Dealt with it many times on rav4s and old rx300s . Remove the pan and the screen and give it a good clean up. If there is a lot of crap on the magnets its not a good sign. Quote
