Foxxface
Good evening all starlet owners. This is my first post on any type of forum, so bear with me... I'm the proud new owner of a 1998 Glanza V in bluish silver - quicksilver. I bought the car a few weeks ago with the engine having been removed as the head gasket has gone. Unfortunately, I don't have a pile of cash available to fully forge the engine etc, so for now, will just be replacing like for like to get the car back on the road to enjoy. I have been advised that I should install a multi-layered steel gasket but wondered what thickness is best? Tuning developments offer 1.2mm, 1.4mm or 1.9mm. I was thinking of going with the 1.4mm. I assume a thicker gauge gasket would be more reliable, but welcome any advice members can offer me. Thanks very much. Foxxface
