Does it start ok? I find it strange that all of a sudden one valve has no clearance. As I said, worn valve or valve seat. Hope the piston isn't touching the valve...hence what the noise might be. William737 Posted December 3, 2018 Author Posted December 3, 2018 Starts fine, yeah thought the same is a bit strange isn't it... I'm gonna get it apart on Saturday and swap the shim over etc, I'll post if I find anything. Quote
William737 Posted December 8, 2018 Author Posted December 8, 2018 So had a good look today, swapped some shims about etc. The other shims I had also provided no clearence, the sound changed with different shims I believe this is where the sound is coming from. Does anyone know of a good place I could find some shims for sale? Quote
