Reckon it would be this causing the noise in the video?

Hard to diagnose a fault over a 5 second video.

Is there no clearance at all?

No need all u have to do is sort that one shim out if the rest are in tolerance

Okay cool, so perhaps use a shim from my other engine?

Yes just select a shim that is suitable.

Does it start ok? I find it strange that all of a sudden one valve has no clearance. As I said, worn valve or valve seat.

Hope the piston isn't touching the valve...hence what the noise might be.

Starts fine, yeah thought the same is a bit strange isn't it... I'm gonna get it apart on Saturday and swap the shim over etc, I'll post if I find anything.

So had a good look today, swapped some shims about etc. The other shims I had also provided no clearence, the sound changed with different shims I believe this is where the sound is coming from. Does anyone know of a good place I could find some shims for sale?
